Bumblebee Pest Control Environmental Policy

Bumblebee Pest Control recognises its responsibility to the environment and we go beyond legal and regulatory requirements to make sure we minimise the environmental impact associated with the provision of our services. We're committed to continually improve our environmental performance as an integral part of our business strategy and operating methods with regular review points. As part of this methodology we will also encourage customers, suppliers and other stakeholders to do the same.

We will:-
  • Promote the best environmental practices and awareness amongst our employees, which will require them to work in an environmentally-responsible manner,
  • train, educate and inform our employees about environmental issues that may affect their work,
  • reduce waste through re-use and recycling and by purchasing recycled, recyclable or re-furbished products and materials
  • promote efficient use of materials and resources throughout our facility including water, electricity, raw materials and other resources, particularly those that are non-renewable,
  • avoid unnecessary use of hazardous materials and products, seek substitutions when feasible, and take all reasonable steps to protect human health and the environment when such materials must be used, stored and disposed of,
  • purchase and use environmentally-responsible products accordingly,
  • develop and maintain appropriate emergency and spill response programmes where significant health, safety or environmental hazards exist,
  • communicate our environmental commitment to clients, customers and the public
  • strive to improve our negative impact on the environment through continual improvement in environmental performance

We intend not only to be a leader in bridging the gap between the theory and practice of environmental management at the macro and micro levels, but also to lead in addressing environmental issues, in ensuring that employees are fully aware of these issues and contribute to their resolution and in instilling environmental responsibility as an intrinsic feature of all its practices and procedures.
